Consultation & Planning

We discuss your vision, family dynamics, and outdoor locations across Sydney. You’ll get tips on what to wear and how to prepare. Kids who need time to warm up? We plan for it.

No rigid poses. I guide gently, create space for natural interaction, and take breaks as needed. Your comfort and joy come first.

Selection& Editing

You review all images in a private online gallery and choose your favorites. I edit them to be timeless and beautiful.

Prints & Delivery

Digital files delivered via private gallery within 10 business days. Select packages include print credits toward albums, wall art, and fine art prints. I handle the printing.

Once you book, I put together a personalised styling guide and a Pinterest board with outfit ideas picked specifically for your location and the season. If you are not sure about something you already own, just send me a photo and we will figure it out together.

We choose the location based on what feels right for your family, whether that is a park, a beach, or your own backyard. Some of my favourite spots include Wahroonga Park and Parramatta Park, Fagan Park in Galston, Clareville Reserve and Narrabeen on the Northern Beaches, Balmoral Beach, Long Reef, and Kurnell for something a little more dramatic. I also love shooting on the Central Coast at Avoca Beach. If you have somewhere meaningful to your family, just tell me and we will make it work.

It really depends on the location. Golden hour, about an hour before sunset, works beautifully at open beaches like Narrabeen, Avoca, or Kurnell where the light hits without obstruction. Shaded parks like Wahroonga Park or Clareville Reserve can look gorgeous in the middle of the day because the trees do the work for you. Early mornings are magic at Balmoral and Long Reef before the crowds arrive. When we choose your location together, I will tell you exactly what time works best for it.

Yes, and there is no travel fee. While I am based in Mount Colah on the Upper North Shore, I am happy to drive to locations beyond Sydney. Whether it is Avoca Beach on the Central Coast, the Blue Mountains, or somewhere that holds a special meaning for your family, just let me know and we will plan it together.

Yes, the Upper North Shore and Hills District are right in my backyard. I regularly shoot in Hornsby, Galston, Berowra, Castle Hill, and all the surrounding areas. Some favourite spots include Wahroonga Park, St Ives Village Green, and Parramatta Park. If you have a location in mind, I most likely know it already.

It depends on your family and your package. A small family session is usually around one to one and a half hours. Larger groups can take a bit longer, and that is completely fine. If your toddler needs a snack break or your teenager needs a moment to warm up, we just go with it. There is no rush.

I never expect children to sit still. My approach is built around play and movement because that is where the real moments happen. Running, laughing, being themselves — that is exactly what I am there to capture. We turn the whole session into something fun for them, and the best photos always come from that.

Tell him it is just a relaxed walk in the park or on the beach. There are no stiff poses, no forced smiles, no awkward directions. We just hang out as a family, move around, and chat. Most people forget they are even being photographed after the first few minutes.

Absolutely. Dogs are part of the family and always welcome at outdoor sessions across Sydney as long as the location is dog friendly. Just let me know in advance so we can choose the right spot where your dog can move around safely.

Absolutely. You can reschedule your session up to three times, no questions asked. Sick children are just part of life. With weather, I always use common sense because nobody should stand in the rain just to take photos, and I need to protect my equipment too. Mini sessions have a separate rescheduling policy which I will share when you book.
