We chat about your vision. Studio or outdoor? Who is joining you? What style feels right? I will guide you through wardrobe options and answer any questions about posing or comfort.

The Session

Whether we are in the studio or outdoors, the focus is on you feeling celebrated. I guide you gently, we take breaks, and we move at your pace.

Selection& Editing

You review all images in a private online gallery and choose your favorites. I edit them to be timeless and beautiful.

Prints & Delivery

Digital files delivered via private gallery within 10 business days. Select packages include print credits toward albums, wall art, and fine art prints. I handle the printing.

FAQ

Your Questions Answered

As soon as you can. Maternity dates fill up faster than most people expect, so I recommend reaching out sometime in your second trimester. That gives us plenty of time to plan your session, choose the right location, and sort out all the details without any last minute rushing.

The ideal time is between 28 and 36 weeks. Around 28 to 32 weeks your bump is beautifully round and defined but you still feel comfortable moving and posing. If you would love your bump to look a little more prominent, booking closer to 34 to 36 weeks works beautifully too. Every pregnancy is different though, so if you are unsure just get in touch and we will figure out the timing together.

Once you book I put together a personalised style guide with outfit ideas suited to your session type, location and the season. Both studio and outdoor sessions include access to my maternity gown collection at no extra cost. If you have something you already love and feel beautiful in, bring it along and we will make it work.

Yes. Both studio and outdoor sessions include access to my maternity gown collection. I have a selection of beautiful dresses in different styles and colours, all chosen specifically for photography. You are welcome to wear something from my collection, bring your own outfits, or mix both. There is no extra charge for using the wardrobe.

Your partner is always welcome at both studio and outdoor sessions. Studio sessions are intimate by design and work best with up to three people. I start by working with mum first, and your partner and little one join a bit later in the session. That way everyone gets the best out of the time together without little ones getting restless too early. For outdoor sessions the whole family is welcome, kids included.*

*Studio maximum 3 people: mum, partner and one child.

It really comes down to the feel you are after. Studio sessions are calm, controlled and timeless. The focus is entirely on you, the light is consistent, and you have access to the full wardrobe collection. Outdoor sessions have a completely different energy. Natural light, open space, your favourite Sydney location, and the whole family can come along. A lot of my clients love both, which is exactly why I offer a combo package that includes studio and outdoor together.

I am based in Mount Colah near Hornsby on the Upper North Shore and shoot across Sydney depending on what feels right for you. Some of my favourite maternity locations include Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, Wahroonga Park, Fagan Park in Galston, Curl Curl Boardwalk in Freshwater and Clareville on the Northern Beaches, Centennial Park, or Parramatta Park nd Kurnell for something a little more dramatic. If you have a location that is meaningful to you, just tell me and we will make it work.

Yes, absolutely. A home session can be one of the most personal and intimate ways to capture your pregnancy. To make the most of your space, send me a few photos of the rooms you have in mind along with which direction your windows face and what time of day the light is best in each area. From there we plan the session around your home and the natural light available. Just get in touch and we will organise everything together.

All packages include high resolution digital files ready to print or share online. If you would love something on your wall or in an album, I also offer professional printing so your favourite photos become something you actually see every day, not just scroll past on your phone.

Yes, and it is one of my favourite combinations. My Bump to Baby package covers both your maternity session and your newborn session together at a reduced rate. Booking both with the same photographer means a consistent style across your whole story, from pregnancy through to your baby’s first days. Newborn sessions need to happen within the first two weeks after birth, so having everything planned in advance makes it much easier. Just get in touch and we will organise everything together.

Hair and makeup is not included in the session price but it is highly recommended, especially for studio sessions. It genuinely makes a difference to how you feel in front of the camera and shows beautifully in the photos. If you need a recommendation I am happy to point you toward a local makeup artist, just ask when you get in touch.

Studio sessions are typically around two hours depending on your package and the number of backdrops. Outdoor sessions are usually one to one and a half hours depending on the location and how many people are joining. We move at your pace throughout and take breaks whenever you need them.

Absolutely. You can reschedule your session up to three times, no questions asked. Life happens and I completely understand. If the weather turns for an outdoor session we will simply move the date. Just get in touch as soon as you can and we will find a new time that works for you.

A little preparation goes a long way. Book your hair and makeup in advance if you are planning it. Get a good night of sleep before the session. If you are coming to the studio, arrive with freshly moisturised skin and avoid tight waistbands or anything that leaves marks on your skin for at least an hour before we start. Bring a snack and some water, especially if you are later in your pregnancy. If you are using my wardrobe, just let me know your size and style preferences beforehand and I will have options ready for you.

Studio sessions start from $550 and outdoor sessions also start from $550. Both include professional editing, a private online gallery, and a credit toward wall art or prints. If you are thinking about combining maternity with a newborn session, I offer bundle packages that save you up to $300. Full pricing is listed above, and if you have something specific in mind just get in touch and we can put together the right option for you.
